Just a quick post to say.... we made it to Nyankunde, Democratic Republic of Congo!  We arrived yesterday after more than 2 days of travel.  Its absolutely beautiful.  After staying the night in Uganda, we took a small plane over Lake Victoria and over Lake Albert and then over beautiful green mountains and rolling hills dotted with tropical trees.  We landed on a bumpy grassy runway and bounced to a stop with Luke giggling incessantly!  We were greeted by a lovely group of people swaying their arms, waving flowers and singing- we made it to our new home at last :).

I'll post pictures soon of the lovely avocados, mangos, green hills and lovely people.  We didn't manage to capture this in photos, but one of the wonderful things to behold today was Luke frolicking in the grass soccer field with tons of little kiddos.  He passed the frisbee, rolled in the grass and tickled his new buddies.  We think he'll fit right in!  Okay, thats all for now, but we'll post more soon.....
