Greetings!
We have much to share… We are on our way, in transition, toward actually being the LaRochelles in the DRC :)
In mid-September we left our home and dear friends in San Diego to come back East to spend time with family. It felt brutal to rip away from the family God graciously gave us during our 4 years there. We grieve being so far away now and not getting the joy of sharing daily life with those friends as we came accustomed to.
We are enjoying spending time in beautiful Virginia with Anna's family and our friends here, then will head to Tennessee in mid-November to spend time with Patrick's family and friends there. Luke is loving the rural life.
BIG NEWs for us is that our beautiful and sweet MIRIAM SOPHIA LAROCHELLE was born yesterday, right on her due date! We didn't know if we were going to blessed with a he OR she… what a joy to meet her! I have nothing pink yet, so our lives will be quickly changing with this new addition :). We had a wonderful, quick labor- doctor didn't have time to put gloves on as she flew out into this world. So grateful to be able to introduce her to family and friends back East…. but wishing our San Diego friends and those of you far away could meet her.
Big brother wanting to hold her his entire first visit with her. Famous line, "Baby came out!"
Miriam with all of her cousins, Aunt Nicole and Uncle Aaron.
Miriam with Daddy.
So much better out than in! Loving having a newborn again.
Can't believe God gave us a sweet little girl!
Please come visit if you're in the area. We are so grateful for you all and the part you play in our journey.
Love,
Patrick, Anna, Luke and Miriam
